As part of the l’Officina delle Idee series of events, the TRANSIT think tank held a workshop on the future of adult education and learning in Lugano on 28 November 2024. The workshop, led by Matteo Ficara, offered participants the opportunity to immerse into the world of futurology and to experience first-hand the construction of future scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a short theoretical introduction, Matteo Ficara took the participants on a journey through three time horizons. The aim was to identify the skills that will be needed in the future by those working in adult education and learning. However, also emerging future working skills were explored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first step was to use a future scenario with the SVEB as a reference point to discuss what is existing today but is unlikely to be existing in the future. We then looked at what are only faint signs of change today, but could be of fundamental importance tomorrow. Finally, we developed visions for future skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the participants, the event was an opportunity for reflection, deepening and sharing. The encouragement to develop new ways of thinking about the future and to question ways of thinking that we are often tied to was particularly appreciated. The discussion proved to be dynamic and also addressed the responsibility of educational institutions to steer the future of continuing education towards more desirable and sustainable scenarios. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop concluded with a round table discussion, which provided additional space for exploring a variety of futuristic topics and enabled participants to gain new perspectives on how to address future challenges in the field of adult education and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshop <\/strong>Think Tank TRANSIT <\/strong>sul futuro della formazione<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nell’ambito del ciclo di incontri l\u2019Officina delle idee, il 28 novembre 2024 si \u00e8 svolto a Lugano, sottoforma di workshop, un evento del Think Tank TRANSIT dedicato alle riflessioni sui futuri nell\u2019ambito della formazione continua. L’incontro, condotto da Matteo Ficara, ha offerto ai partecipanti l’opportunit\u00e0 di immergersi nel mondo dei future studies e di sperimentare in prima persona la costruzione di scenari futuri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dopo una breve introduzione teorica, Matteo Ficara<\/a> ha guidato i partecipanti in un viaggio attraverso uno strumento innovativo che ha permesso di esplorare tre orizzonti temporali. L’obiettivo era identificare le competenze necessarie in futuro per chi opera nel campo della formazione, ma anche le competenze richieste dal mondo del lavoro che si profila all’orizzonte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immaginando uno scenario futuro dove la FSEA \u00e8 il punto di riferimento per la formazione continua e lo sviluppo delle competenze professionali, si \u00e8 partiti analizzando cosa, nel presente, esiste ma probabilmente non ci sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9 in futuro. Successivamente, si \u00e8 riflettuto su elementi che, sebbene oggi appaiano come segnali deboli di cambiamento, potrebbero acquisire un’importanza fondamentale domani, si \u00e8 poi concluso immaginando visioni sulle competenze chiave del futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Per i partecipanti, l’evento \u00e8 stato occasione di riflessione, arricchimento e scambio. In particolare, sono stati apprezzati gli stimoli per sviluppare nuovi pensieri sul futuro, sfidando le convenzioni mentali a cui spesso siamo legati. Il confronto si \u00e8 rivelato dinamico, e si \u00e8 anche esplorata la responsabilit\u00e0 degli istituti di formazione nell’orientare il futuro della formazione continua verso scenari pi\u00f9 desiderabili e sostenibili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al termine del workshop si \u00e8 tenuta una tavola rotonda che ha offerto un ulteriore spazio per approfondire diversi temi inerenti il futuro, permettendo ai partecipanti di acquisire  nuove prospettive per affrontare le sfide future nel settore della formazione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
